The 9 hole course (known as the 'Wee Course) might look like a short and easy course on the card, however it is anything but! Starting from just outside the clubhoiuse, the first challenge is to try and position your dive on one of the 'flats', be careful though, if you catch a slope you could see your ball coming back to your feet!
4 par three's and 5 par four's - this par 32 offers a great challenge for all levels of golf. It's perfect for those just beginning, it's not the longest of courses. It also presents a challenge to even the most experienced of golfers though. What it lacks in distance it makes up for in narrow fairways, small undulating greens and some really tough par threes.
Even if you make it to the 8th tee on a good score, you still have to find a way to deal with the dreaded 8th hole. Less than 100 yards long but straight over a gully that leaves no room for error whatsoever. Many a great round has been ruined by Jardine's Burn.
The course finishes with another tough par three, this time over 200 yards long. So don't be celebrating until your ball drops in the cup on the 9th green.
