On New Years Day we had 46 golfers playing the 1st competition of the year at the golf club. “The Hangover Trophy ” A great turnout especially in the blustery and snowy conditions.

David McFarlane posted the target score off 33 to beat. With Euan Knox coming close with a 34 and then also Paul Dorrian with a 34. Paul actually shot 32 but with + 2 handicap to be added he missed out.

The eventual winner came from one of the last matches out. A terrific 32 by Stevie McDowell won him the Hangover Trophy for the 1st time.

A great day in the clubhouse afterwards. Massive thanks to Ivy and staff for our food and serving the drinks. And thanks to the Golf Club in supporting the ever growing Hangover Trophy.
