• Greens Update 10 Sept 2020

Hopefully you will see that our greens staff are working hard to allow us to play the course in the best condition possible. As we move into Autumn they require the help of every playing member to maintain and improve the condition
of the course until end of the season.

In my August Greens Newsletter I requested that all members make the Four R's a habit when playing our courses. I am pleased to say that the vast majority of players are following these and I thank you all for doing so. However, there is clearly still a number of members who are not following these basic disciplines.

Therefore, as a reminder:

Repair at least one pitch mark on every green
Replace all divots (including filling divot marks on par 3s with divot mix supplied in boxes)
Rake all bunker marks carefully (every game should carry a rake)
Rubbish to be placed in bins or taken home.

I also would like to thank the volunteer "hit squad" members who gave up their time this week to fill divot holes on the fairways. It makes a huge difference and I am sure we will all benefit from your efforts.

Finally, as previously stated, I want this to be a two way communication process and I welcome any questions, concerns, feedback, suggestions, etc relating to the course, please send to my email bfitzpat90@hotmail.com and I will respond as quickly as possible.
